Why should you sign-up with MigrantNet?

By MigrantNet
Over the past few weeks, whenever we have mentioned launch of MigrantNet to any one who we feel is likely to benefit from joining MigrantNet, we are asked, "Why should I signup?"
We understand the query and we thought it would be a good idea to mention here some reasons why you should signup with MigrantNet.

MigrantLife i.e. your life as a Migrant has different stages which can be defined as under:

01. Pre Migration
02. Early Migrant
03. Settled Migrant
04. Migrant considering returning back home

When you are in a Pre Migration stage i.e. when you are planning to migrate to a new country, you have many questions about the life in new environment and new social culture. We feel MigrantNet will be best place to find answers at this stage. To get advantage, you should signup and start posting your queries here so other migrants can answer.

When you arrive in a new country you obviously have many questions about finding appropriate accommodation, finding a job, finding school for your children or opening a bank account etc. and MigrantNet will be a good place to find answers to your questions.

Once you have passed some time in new country, you have all the information which you can pass on to other Migrants and Expats. We know you remember how you felt when you arrived in a completely new environment and we hope you would love to act as a Mentor for newly arriving individuals.

If you decide to return back to your home country, you will need some help and information as your home country has also moved ahead while you were away and you will need some information and help in adjusting once again.

From time to time, you will also need some information on buying a property and mortgage or taxation in new country as well as back home or your visa status and how you can extend your visa etc. and we feel that MigrantNet should your first port of call.

We would appreciate if you will come forward, signup and start posting your views and suggestions to make this a valuable resource for Migrants and Expats
